The International School of Arizona (ISA) is a private, nonprofit bilingual immersion school in North Scottsdale, Greater Phoenix, serving children from 18 months through Grade 8. For more than 25 years ISA has balanced a personalised, family-focused environment with academic excellence, immersing students in French or Spanish so that most outperform their monolingual peers in both their native and track language by the end of third grade.
As a nonprofit independent school, ISA is funded primarily by tuition revenue and notes that its fees are often lower than those of comparable private schools in the area, with small class sizes. A 10% tuition deposit is due upon signing the enrollment agreement, and scholarships and tuition assistance are available. ISA welcomes new students throughout the year and is currently accepting applications for the 2026–2027 school year across all grades (applications for Grade 1 and above require a good command of French or Spanish). Families begin by submitting an information request form through the ISA admissions portal, after which the admissions team makes contact and arranges a campus visit. The process then moves to an online application (uploading birth certificate, parent ID, K–8 educational records and any diagnostic testing or records-release forms), an optional 'Day in the Life / Shadow Day' for children entering PK4 or above, and a review by the Admissions Review Committee.
